Softy Meet is a self-hosted video conferencing and webinar platform for online classrooms, built on the LiveKit SFU. I built both tiers: a Next.js front end for the live room — whiteboard, chat modes, host controls and recording — and a Go backend in clean architecture that mints role-aware access tokens, drives the SFU over Twirp RPC, and merges recordings with FFmpeg. It's multi-tenant, with organizations, plans, invitations and analytics on Postgres and Redis, deployed with Docker Compose.
